With GemeindeDigital, we built a modular app system that’s both powerful and flexible. Our direct client can fully add and customize apps using just a simple JSON form and thereby keep setup costs low. The platform handles everything else—automatically building, deploying, and updating all white-label instances seamlessly. The result: a cost-effective, high-performance solution that, on it's peak was used, by thousands across Austria, Switzerland and Germany.
Unfortunately the project was discontinued due to a shift of the company focus.
But at the time of creation we already used Flutter (before it even hit 1.0) and had amazing results with it.
For us it was one of the projects, that shows us, that flutter is the way to go. Although documentation was not on par with todays documentation and we had to write and fix core issues regularly.
We seamlessly integrated a wide range of features, making them intuitive and accessible for everyone. Despite complex challenges, we crafted simple, user-friendly solutions. Here are just a few of our favorite features—there’s much more to explore.

GemeindeDigital has been a huge success, with thousands of users engaging daily across municipalities. Especially the technical challenges were unbelievably interesting in a time, where Flutter was not even at version 1.0 yet.
